Isotretinoin is a prescription medication more commonly
known by its brand name of Accutane. Isotretinoin
is a synthetic retinoid, derived from Vitamin A,
that inhibits sebaceous gland secretion and is used
most commonly in the treatment of severe forms of
acne. It is known to be teratogenic, in other words
a drug that can't be given to women that are pregnant
or not properly following a contraceptive program.

active ingredient in Accutane. Accutane

in the United States and/or other countries.
