I listened to the press conference but I didn't hear any such statement. "At around 12:00 p.m., investigators said the situation had come to an end, and Philon had been arrested. Shortly after that, Sheriff Bob White confirmed that both Philon and another deputy, Corporal Don Riggans, had been arrested on drug-related charges. "Sheriff White said both men were charged with conspiracy to distribute hydrocodone, and both men were fired from their positions at the sheriff's office.
