Dr. Scally early on recognized the lack of research and treatment for individuals using AAS. He has remained as the sole physician by reputation and publication [FN1] to actively pursue and advocate the proper use of AAS to optimize health. Dr. Scally has personally cared for thousands of individuals using AAS. His protocol for Anabolic Steroid Induced Hypogonadism has been presented before the Endocrine Society, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, American College of Sports Medicine, & International Workshop on Adverse Drug Reactions and Lipodystrophy in HIV. His concern and interest for an individual’s health includes nutritional and exercise aspects as well. He was the 1^st to recognize, report, and publish the findings on the OTC supplement Triax (Tiratricol) which was advertised to cause fat loss while actually doing the opposite. [FN2] At the age of 44 Dr. Scally placed 2^nd in the Mr. Texas bodybuilding Championship.

Dr. Scally’s education includes a double degree major in Chemistry (1975) and Life Sciences (1975) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) Cambridge, MA. He was awarded a Postgraduate Fellowship in the Division of Brain Sciences & Neuroendocrinology (M.I.T. 1975-1980) [FN3] while concurrently attending and receiving a M.D. (1980) from Harvard Medical College.
